Mercy Gilbert Medical Center opened its doors in June 2006 with 92 beds as the first full-service acute-care hospital in Gilbert. With the opening of Tower B in January 2008, we nearly doubled in size to 182 beds, and we have the capacity to expand even more to help meet our community's needs.

We are proud to build on the traditions established by Catholic Healthcare West more than 100 years ago in Phoenix. Mercy Gilbert Medical Center is committed to providing a healing environment for patients to rest and recover, providing a smoke-free campus with healing gardens, a concierge service and soothing colors echoed throughout the hospital's design and furniture. In 2007, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center was ranked second on the national list of Healing Hospitals by The Baptist Healing Trust.

Mercy Gilbert Medical Center is also equipped with the latest technology and wireless capabilities including computerized charting, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, a picture archiving communication system (PACS), a 64-slice CT Scanner and a Vocera ® wireless two-way communication system.
