The Medical/Surgical Department, comprised of 85 private patient rooms, provides services and care for inpatients in the acute stage of suspected or known physiological compromise. Our services include diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
Our nursing care includes the safe and proficient delivery of treatment necessary to provide for the physical and emotional needs of the patient, as well as the promotion and maintenance of their health. The process encompasses:
- Evaluation of patient care
- Interventions and outcome identification
- Nursing diagnosis
- Patient assessment
- Planning implementation

Free Surgical Orientation Class
This forum will allow patients to have their questions and concerns addressed, as well as provide them with some peace of mind knowing what to expect before and after their surgery. A variety of speakers will cover topics ranging from:
- Preparing for surgery
- Pre-op procedures
- Post-op and your stay
- Tour of the surgical department
