Mercy Gilbert Medical Center's Diagnostic Services is staffed with certified technologists and board-certified radiologists, and is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including holidays, and provides patients with access to the following procedures:
- Body plethysmography
- Cardiac CT
- Cardiac ultrasound
- Digital imaging
- Echocardiograms
- Stress echocardiograms
- Transesphogeal echocardiograms
Our Diagnostic Services includes a Neurology Center, which includes the Electroneurodiagnostics Lab. This lab has a state-of-the-art digital electroneurodiagnostic system with EEG, evoked potential, electomyography, and nerve conduction study capabilities. Technologists may perform the following studies:
- Brainstem evoked potential
- Electoencephalogram
- Somatosensory evoked potential
- Visual evoked potential
Mercy Gilbert Medical Center's staff neurologist has the capability to conduct electromyography and nerve conduction studies. Also within our Diagnostic Services is a Pulmonary Lab, which includes a Body Plethsmograph System which is used to monitor and detect lung disease.
Additionally, our Diagnostic Services has some the finest radiology technology available, including:
- Diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology
- General, vascular and obstetrical ultrasound
- Digital mammography
- Multi-slice CT scanners with cardiac imaging
- MRI with breast imaging
