Mercy Gilbert's Orthopedic Unit provides services and care for patients with a physiological compromise due to illness, injury, or pre- and post-surgical procedure.

Our staff provides care to adolescents, adults and geriatric patients with, but not limited to, the following conditions:

• Injuries to the musculoskeletal system, including a fracture, dislocation or trauma to bones and joints, muscle, ligament or tendon, and soft tissues
• Disease processes which affect the integrity of the musculoskeletal system, including tumors, infections, and degenerative processes, and genetic disorders
• Disorders of the spinal cord and/or nervous system, such as trauma, infectious and demyelinating processes, genetic disorder, and degenerative processes
