The Lund Family Pediatric and Adolescent Unit has successfully created an environment where kids can be kids, even when they are in the hospital.
- The KidsZone is a playroom filled with movies, toys, books, and arts and crafts activities geared toward children of all ages.
- The Kids Korner Grocery and Café is open around the clock so children can eat whenever they are hungry and can be directly involved with their food preparation and choices. Kids' favorites - including macaroni and cheese, pizza, ice cream and more than 30 different comfort snacks - are available to choose from. The café environment allows the family to eat together.
- The Chillaxin Room is designed just for teens so they can relax and sit on a couch, watch a movie, listen to music, play video games or use a computer.

Paws for Patients offers patients a visit from a specially trained therapy dog and their volunteer owner. Visits from these furry friends help to promote the healing process. Patients may pet and brush their fur or simply have the dog sit on their bed.
- Patients and their families have free access to Skylight Children's Experience Television, including cable television, movies and SeaWorld Adventures.
