Welcome to the 22-private bed Lund Family Pediatric and Adolescent Unit has successfully created a child friendly healing environment where kids can be kids even when they are in the hospital.
Children's author Jillian Lund, artist and niece of the Lund family, painted murals that are displayed along the walls. Patients and visitors can read three of her books as they walk through the unit. Frank, a coyote who is the main character in her books, has been named the mascot of the unit. We recognize that parents know their child's emotional needs, habits and patterns. For this reason, we encourage parents to assist our team every step of the way in providing efficient, high quality, radical loving care for each child.
