Thank you for choosing Dignity Health for your surgery. You've made a great choice. At Dignity Health hospitals, including Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, we have a mission of healing. That mission includes the restoration of your body and the healing of your mind and spirit.
While we fully embrace our mission of healing, we believe that much more goes into your healing than the medicine we practice. We know that families, friends and other loved ones are crucial to the restoration of your body, the healing of your mind and spirit, and your well being after surgery. To that end we encourage their participation. If you are scheduled for outpatient surgery, we encourage you to bring a family member or friend who can be kept informed of your progress and who can take you home afterward. If you will be admitted after your surgery, your loved ones are welcome to wait during your surgery, as well as to visit during your stay. Although we don't have set visiting hours, we do restrict visitors as needed during cold and flu season. For specific details, please visit Visiting Hours and Guidelines.
