Patient Safety and Security

Due to increased security requirements, access to the hospital campus may be limited to a few main entrances. To ensure the safety of our patients, staff, and visitors, security officers may ask to inspect bags, purses, or containers being brought into the hospital.

Mercy Gilbert Medical Center staff must wear ID badges visible at all times. Visitors may be asked to sign in, to wear a name tag, or to disclose their purpose for visiting the hospital.

For security issues, lost and found, courtesy escorts, or visitor badges, call extension 88111 from within the hospital or 480.728.8111 outside the hospital.
