Rudy Apodaca

Rudy Apodaca is Vice President of Operations for Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, a member of Catholic Healthcare West (CHW). He has more than 30 years of healthcare experience in both faith-based and for-profit organizations. Rudy provides executive oversight of departments such as pharmacy, imaging services, cardiopulmonary, the Sleep Center, and Health Information Management. He is also co-executive sponsor for Medication Safety Steering and Quality Committees. Rudy is also involved in the local community. He is a board member of a not-for-profit after school program, Improving Chandler Area Neighborhood (ICAN), that provides preventative programs to needy and underserved children. Rudy is also a board member of CHW in the East Valley’s Institutional Review Board that provides oversight and approval of research trails, and protects the welfare and rights of human research subjects.
