2011 Award

Mercy Gilbert Medical Center was awarded the "Exceeding Patient Expectations" award by Avatar International, an industry leader in healthcare quality improvement services, as a result of a survey conducted in 2010 that gauged patient expectations about quality of care, reliability and customization before the visit.

This award was presented to Mercy Gilbert because of their loving and healing philosophy which helps patients feel safe and comfortable in what can be a stressful environment. Mercy Gilbert's caregivers practice by the motto of "Pause, Reflect and Heal," reminding each person walking into a patient's room to pause, think only about that patient and focus on healing touch.
